This is how Kraken Performance Gym handles your information. Plain English, no dark patterns.
What we collect
When you submit a form on this site — the contact form, the tour walk-through form, the personal training booking, or the membership signup — we collect the information you give us: name, email, phone number, and anything you type into the message or goals field. If you give us SMS consent, we keep that consent on record.
When you pay for training online, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your card information directly. We never see or store card numbers.
Cloudflare logs technical request data (IP address, user agent) for security and abuse prevention.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry or confirm your booking.
- To send you appointment reminders and follow-ups related to a service you've requested.
- To run our gym — your membership records, training schedule, and so on.
- To improve the site (anonymized analytics).
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it. We do not share it with third parties except service providers we use to actually deliver our service (Stripe for payments, Resend for email, Twilio for SMS, Calendly for scheduling, Cloudflare for hosting). Those providers act on our instructions and are bound by their own privacy commitments.
Email and SMS
You can unsubscribe from email at any time using the link in any email we send. You can stop SMS at any time by replying STOP to any of our texts. We respect these immediately.
By submitting a form with your phone number and the SMS consent box checked, you agree to receive text messages from Kraken Performance Gym related to your inquiry, booking, or membership. Standard message and data rates may apply. Texts are sent only between 8am and 9pm Eastern.
How long we keep it
We keep contact and booking records for as long as you're a customer plus seven years for tax and bookkeeping purposes. After that, records are deleted or anonymized.
You can request a copy of your data, or its deletion, at any time — email [email protected].
Children
This site is not directed to anyone under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy materially, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top and, if we have your email on file, send you a notice.
